How Marketly Works

Marketly makes campus shopping simple, whether you are buying from a student seller or running a campus business.

For buyers

  1. Create an account and choose your campus.
  2. Browse listings or explore the campus store directory.
  3. Contact the seller on WhatsApp or through in-app chat.
  4. Meet at a public campus spot such as the SUB, library or gate.
  5. Inspect the item, then pay the seller directly.

For campus vendors and student businesses

  1. Create an account and start the store onboarding.
  2. Set up your store with a name, campus and category.
  3. Activate your store with the monthly store subscription.
  4. Add products with photos and prices in Naira (₦).
  5. Answer buyer enquiries and hand over items on campus.

Staying safe

Meet in public places on campus, inspect items before paying, and never send money in advance for items you have not seen. Use the Report Listing button in the app to flag anything suspicious.
